The Tamarina Golf Course, located in the stunning Tamarin region on Mauritius’ Western coast, spans over 206 hectares. This 18-hole Championship course, which also offers a 9-hole option, is beautifully integrated into the rugged savannah landscape, enriched with mature trees and the Rempart River’s serenity. 

Designed by architect Rodney Wright, the course provides a blend of aesthetic pleasure and challenging play.

Key Features

• Course Design: The course measures 6886 metres from the Professional tees, featuring a mix of four Par 3’s, four Par 5’s, and the remaining as Par 4’s. Each hole presents five different teeing options to accommodate all skill levels: Championship, Professional, Club, Senior Championship, and Ladies tees.
• Driving Range: A covered driving range with 10 undercover bays, large putting greens, and chipping and bunker facilities spread over 43,000 square metres. The practice areas have natural grass tees and greens maintained to PGA standards.
• Scenic Beauty: The course layout offers spectacular views of Mount Rempart and the Tamarin Bay, creating a perfect blend of challenging golf and natural beauty.

Services and Facilities

• Golf Academy: Offers individual lessons and a complete 6-day golfing course. PGA Golf Pro and Assistant Pro provide video coaching and playing lessons.
• Club House & Restaurant: ‘Le Dix-Neuf’ overlooks the 18th hole, the Rempart River, and Tamarin Bay, serving breakfast, lunch, and light meals.
• Pro Shop: A wide range of golfing equipment and accessories, including clubs, balls, clothing, bags, and souvenirs.

Practical Information

• Dress Code: Complete golf apparel is required, including recognised golf shirts with collars, trousers/shorts/skorts, visible socks, and golf/sports shoes. Jeans and swimming trunks are not permitted.
• Booking Details: Clients must provide names, gender, golf handicap, hand preference, and whether they will bring their own clubs.
• Weather Policy: In case of bad weather making the course unplayable, tee times will be rescheduled.

Pricing

• Green Fees: 89 Euros for 9 Holes, 135 Euros for 18 Holes. Reduced rates for juniors under 19 years.
• Golf Cart Rental: Available for an additional charge.

Booking Options

• Specific Date Booking: Allows reservation for a preferred time and date.
• Open/Gift Voucher: Valid for 3 months, offering flexibility to choose a preferred date later.

Additional Notes

• The use of golf carts is recommended, though trolleys can be hired.
• Players can bring water bottles to refill at the course’s water fountains.
